Tommy Johansson (born October 26, 1987 in Boden , also known as Tommy ReinXeed ) is a Swedish multi-instrumentalist , singer and music producer . He achieved his greatest fame as the guitarist of the heavy metal band Sabaton . He is also active as a singer, guitarist and keyboardist in the bands Majestica and Golden Resurrection .

Life

In 2000 Johansson founded the band ReinXeed together with some musicians , but after a few demo recordings the other members turned away from the group and Johansson continued the group under the pseudonym Tommy ReinXeed. Since 2008 a total of six studio albums have been created.

From 2008 to 2011 Johansson was the drummer for the band Arized . In 2009 he was guitarist and composer for the band Heroes of Vallentor , on whose album Warriors Path, Part 1 from 2014 he was also involved. There are also many other bands. Since 2011 he has been the drummer for Charlie Shred . In 2016 he succeeded Thobbe Englund as the guitarist of Sabaton, in 2012 singer Joakim Brodén asked him if he wanted to join one of the two guitarists who had left, but Johansson had canceled due to his other obligations. Johannson had been a Sabaton fan since Primo Victoria was released in 2005 and saw the group at the Sweden Rock Festival . In 2010 he met Joakim Brodén at a party where they both played songs from Disney films on the piano while drunk . Recorded in 2017 and released in 2018, Manowar cover Kingdom Come is Johansson's first published recording with Sabaton.

In 2017 Johansson was a live singer for Twilight Force .

Activity alongside guitar and singing

In the meantime Johansson produced under his pseudonym and was active as a mixer and lyricist. He mainly plays guitar and keyboard . In addition, he has mastered the electric bass and drums . With Thobbe Englund, Chris Rörland and Hannes Van Dahl he has played in the band The Last Heroes since 2017.
