The Twin Peaks ( English for twin peaks ) are two approximately 1100 m high mountain peaks in the Schwartz Range of the East Antarctic Kemplands . They rise 22 km north of the Wilma Glacier on the southwestern shore of Edward VIII Bay .
A team around the Australian geodesist and cartographer Robert George Dovers (1921-1981) sighted them in 1954 as part of a campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them descriptively in 1955.
