Two of Us is a song by Two of Us . It was released in October 1985 as the successor single to Blue Night Shadow , but with 36th place in Germany it could not quite build on their success.
Creation and publication
The song was written by Hubert Kemmler alias Hubert Kah (music) together with Ulrich Herter and also produced by them. The lyrics that Timothy Touchton wrote are about a two-way relationship in which the two partners stick together "in love and crime". Hubert Kah guitarist Markus Löhr contributed a "happy metal riff " to the fast synth pop song, which takes up elements of the Hi-NRG .
In October 1985 the single was released on Blow Up Records . The B-side contains the song Neige d'amour (instrumental) . The 7 "version also appeared on the album Twice as Nice . The 12" single contains the 5:50 minute extended version. The first edition was delivered in red vinyl. The band performed the song live several times, including at Formula One (episode 105). On November 30, 1985, she appeared on Peter's Pop Show in Dortmund's Westfalenhalle , which was broadcast to numerous countries around the world.
