Tyler Mislawchuk
Tyler Mislawchuk (born August 19, 1994 in Winnipeg ) is a Canadian triathlete and Olympian (2016).
Career
Tyler Mislawchuk studied at the University of Manitoba in his native Winnipeg.
He qualified for a place at the 2016 Summer Olympics, competed for Canada on August 18 in Rio de Janeiro (together with Amelie Kretz , Sarah-Anne Brault , Kirsten Sweetland and Andrew Yorke ) and finished in 15th place. In June 2017 he became national champion sprint triathlon.
In 2018, Mislawchuk started in Australia at the Commonwealth Games and finished fourth with the Canadian team in the mixed relay. As part of the 2018 World Championship Series ( ITU World Championship Series 2018 ), he finished ninth as the best Canadian.
In August 2019, the 24-year-old won the qualifying race for the 2020 Summer Olympics (ITU World Triathlon Olympic Qualification Event) in Japan.
