Tyree Ridge is a rocky ridge in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It extends from Mount Tyree in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains over a length of 5 km in a northeasterly direction.
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Rear Admiral David Merrill Tyree (1904-1984), commander of the support units of the United States Navy in Antarctica from April 14, 1959 to November 26, 1962, based on the name of the mountain of the same name .
