Tyrrell Raymon Herbert (* 17th July 1986 ) is a former American American football - and arena football poker players. He played one season each in the position of free safety for the Florida Tuskers in the United Football League (UFL) and Pittsburgh Power in the Arena Football League (AFL).

college

Herbert played for the Toledo Rockets at the University of Toledo College Football from 2004 to 2008 . In his first season, he played in nine games in which he scored two tackles . In 2005 he started in all twelve games and scored 94 tackles. In 2006 he played in eleven of twelve games, all of which he played from the start. He only missed the game against McNeese State University due to an injury. In the 2007 season Herbert injured himself in the season opening game, which is why he was out the rest of the season. The NCAA recognized him for a red shirt year despite his commitment, which is why he remained eligible to play in 2008. In his final season he scored 79 tackles.

NFL

After Herbert was not selected in the 2009 NFL Draft , the Buffalo Bills signed him on April 27, 2009 .

UFL

Herbert was selected in the fifth round of the 2010 UFL Draft by the Florida Tuskers . There he only played nine games due to injury, but still scored 56 tackles. He was released on August 26, 2010.

AFL

On October 21, 2010 Herbert was signed by the Pittsburgh Power for the AFL. On April 18, 2011, he was placed on the Injured Reserve List . It was reactivated on June 1, 2011. He was released on July 7, 2011, but was hired again five days later. After leading the team with 74 tackles in the 2011 season, he was re-signed for the 2012 season on September 27, 2011. Herbert was suspended on March 19, 2012 and finally released in early April 2012.
