Award

The Junior World Cup, like the 2015 Men's American Football World Cup, was to take place in Sweden. However, Sweden did not have a successful organization. While the men's World Cup was awarded to the United States, the U-19 World Cup was awarded to China. It was the first international football tournament in China.

However, the Canadians countered with an 80-yard touchdown pass and a 47-yard touchdown run and came 14: 3 in the lead. In the third quarter, Canada achieved another touchdown and extended their lead with 21: 3. Both teams scored a field goal and after a pointless last quarter the Canadians celebrated their second World Cup victory with 24: 6 without a counter-touchdown.
