The Cairoli Station is an underground station of the subway Milan . It was named after the square of the same name (largo Cairoli ) .
history
At the end of the 1950s, construction began on the first section of the Milan subway , which was to go from Marelli to Lotto . This included the Cairoli train station.
The line was opened on November 1, 1964.
location
Like every station on Line 1, Cairoli station has two tracks with side platforms . A mezzanine floor with access control is located above the track level.
Connection
At the station there is a connection from the underground line 1 to the tram lines 1 and 4, as well as to the bus lines 50, 57 and 61.
