The underground station Villa San Giovanni (also simply in original plans Villa called) is an underground station of the subway Milan . It was named after an old villa.
history
At the end of the 1950s, construction began on the first section of the Milan subway , which was to lead from Marelli to Lotto . This included the Villa San Giovanni train station.
The line was opened on November 1, 1964.
location
Like every station on Line 1, Villa San Giovanni station has two tracks with a side platform . A mezzanine floor with access control is located above the track level.
