The San Babila Station is an underground station of the subway Milan . It was named after the square of the same name.

history

At the end of the 1950s, construction began on the first sections of the Milan subway , which was to lead from Marelli to Lotto . This included the San Babila train station.

The line was opened on November 1, 1964.

location

Like every station on line 1, the San Babila station has two tracks with side platforms . A mezzanine floor with monitored access control is located above the track level.

Connection

At the station there is a connection from the underground line 1 to the bus lines 54, 60, 61 and 73.
