US Squash is the national squash association of the United States .

history

The association was founded in Philadelphia in 1904 under the name United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA). In 1957 it was officially registered as a non-profit organization in New York State . In the 1970s, the United States Women's Squash Racquets Association (USWSRA) was founded to deal exclusively with women's squash . In 1979 the USSRA and USWSRA merged into a single association.

US Squash is a member of the United States Olympic Committee and the Federación Panamericana de Squash . Its headquarters are in New York City and its current president is Peter R. Lasusa Jr. The association annually organizes, among other things, the national championships and holds the licenses for the US Open , the North American Open and other tournaments in the United States. He also leads the US Squash Hall of Fame .

National team

The US national team for men, women and youth participate in all continental and international competitions.
