USS Illinois (BB-65)
The USS Illinois was a battleship of the Iowa class with the identifier BB-65, whose construction was never completed.
The keel of the Illinois was laid at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard on January 15, 1945 , and construction of the ship had progressed to a level of 22% by August 12, 1945 when the construction ban was imposed.
In August 1948 the hull was sold and then scrapped.
