Union Sportive Coutras, short US Coutras, is a French roller hockey - club from the southwestern French city of Coutras . The men's team of the club won its 16th French championship title in 2011, the women's team 3rd.
history
In 1936, out of enthusiasm for the new sport that had emerged at the beginning of the century, a local wine merchant founded the club under the name Hockey Patin-Club Coutrillon , one of the earliest of its kind in France. After the game was interrupted in the Second World War, in 1954, after internal disputes, a competing roller hockey club was founded; the split was overcome in 1962 by merging again under the current name.
