Udo Ehrbar (born May 2, 1942 in St. Ilgen ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

He studied economics at the University of Heidelberg and became a graduate economist. After completing his studies, he was a lecturer in economics for lawyers from 1970 to 1979. From 1979 to 1997 he was chairman of the board of the Volksbank Kurpfalz in Heidelberg.

From March 29, 1983 to November 10, 1994 Ehrbar was a member of the German Bundestag for three terms . He was elected for the CDU through a direct mandate in the Heidelberg constituency in Baden-Württemberg . In the Bundestag he was a member of the finance committee and was particularly involved in the three-stage tax reform 1986/1988/1990.

In 1984 he also became a commercial judge at the Heidelberg Regional Court and in this function also a member of the Presidium of the Federal Association of Commercial Judges. Since 1982 he has been a member of the Alfred Weber Society; Working group for economics in connection with economics at the University of Heidelberg. He worked as a management consultant and headed the Steinbeis Advisory Center in Heidelberg / Walldorf for "International Project Financing".
