Udo Neumann

Udo Neumann (born April 6, 1963 in Cologne ) is a German climber , author and filmmaker .

Life

Neumann is a qualified sports teacher. He started climbing in 1982 after previously practicing other sports such as white water paddling . Since 2009 he has been training the bouldering team of the German Alpine Club (DAV), from which Juliane Wurm , 2014 bouldering world champion, Jan Hojer , 2015 European bouldering champion, and Jonas Baumann , 2009 bouldering world cup winner, came from. He is also active as an author and filmmaker. Udo Neumann writes on topics related to climbing in numerous publications. His textbooks “License for Climbing” and “License for Bouldering” were given positive ratings in the trade press.
