Jan Hojer (born February 9, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German sport and competition climber .

In 2008, in his first year among adults, he won the German championship in difficulty climbing . In May 2010, after ten days, he succeeded in the thirteenth ascent of the route Action Directe, which Wolfgang Güllich first climbed, with a level of difficulty 9a .

In 2014 Jan Hojer took third place at the Bouldering World Championship in Munich and was the overall World Cup winner. In 2015 he became European champion in bouldering in Innsbruck and reached 2nd place in the overall World Cup. In July 2016 he took part in the first " Ninja Warrior Germany ". At the World Cup in Chongqing he finished second.

In 2017 he also started in lead and speed climbing for the first time, because the regulations for the 2020 Summer Olympics require a combination of all three disciplines. In the lead, he achieved a 4th place at the World Cup in Villars, Switzerland. At the World Games 2017 and in the German Championship he was 2nd each. Hojer is a member of the Frankfurt am Main section of the German Alpine Club .

In August 2017 he won the day at the Bouldering World Cup in Munich and was European champion in bouldering and in the new combined rating of lead, speed and bouldering. Jan Hojer qualified to participate in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
