Udo Reinhold Jeck

Udo Reinhold Jeck (* 1952 ) is a German philosopher .

Life

From 1983 he studied philosophy, art history, modern German studies, general and comparative linguistics (Indo-European studies), modern Greek and Byzantine philology and evangelical theology (Magister Artium in Philosophy 1990) at the Ruhr University in Bochum . After receiving his doctorate in philosophy in 1992, he was a research assistant at the Corpus Philosophorum Teutonicorum Medii Aevi from 1992 to 1997 . After completing his habilitation in philosophy in 2002 at the Faculty of Philosophy, Education and Journalism at the Ruhr University Bochum, he became an adjunct professor of philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy, Education and Journalism at the Ruhr University Bochum in 2008 . In 2008 he taught as a visiting professor at the University of Lüneburg . In 2009 he became Professor of Philosophy and Social Sciences at Grigol Robakidze University . In 2013 he became professor for scientific thinking and working methods (propaedeutics) at EFH Bochum . In 2014 he became Director of the Foreign Department of the Archive of Caucasian Philosophy and Theology at New Georgian University , and in 2017 Professor of Christian Philosophy there.
