The ufra - Unterfrankenschau Schweinfurt is a biennial consumer fair in Schweinfurt . It takes place in even years and alternates annually with the Mainfranken fair in Würzburg. The organizer is Sandner GmbH, Ingolstadt.

With over 400 exhibitors and 70,000 visitors in 22 halls, ufra is one of the larger events in Schweinfurt. It is both a sales and an exhibition fair. The majority of the exhibitors come from the Main-Rhön region .

Location and directions

The ufra takes place on the Volksfestplatz in the Musikerviertel next to the Willy Sachs Stadium . The Volksfestplatz is easily accessible by car and is located on the B 303 (Niederwerrner Straße), a north-western arterial road to the motorways towards Erfurt and Kassel . The Niederwerrner Straße / B 303 connects initially 4 km northwest of the stadium to the A 71 (junction No. 30 Schweinfurt-West ) and a further 8 km west to the A 7 (junction No. 98 Wasserlosen , old name Schweinfurt / Niederwerrn ) . The John-F-Kennedy-Ring connects the ufra to the A 70 4 km to the south (junction no. 5 Schweinfurt / Bergrheinfeld ).

From the main train station , where the central bus station for long-distance and regional buses ( Omnibusverkehr Franken OVF ) is also located, you can take city bus lines 11 and 12 to the central bus station Roßmarkt in the city, which is only served by city bus routes. Lines 22, 24 and 25 lead from the ZOB-Roßmarkt to the Volksfestplatz stop .
