Ulla Zirne (* 6. August 1995 in Riga ) is a Latvian luger .

Career

Zirne started toboggan at the age of eight. She is trained by Ingrīda Amantova and Kaspars Dumpis . In the 2010/11 season Zirne made her debut in the World Cup - she started in the last race in Sigulda, Germany, and finished 21st. In the following season she did not compete in the World Cup. Zirne won the bronze medal at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games . In the 2012/13 season her best World Cup result was a 13th place. In 2014 she took part in the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Here she finished 18th out of 31 participants.
