Ulli Hockenberger

Ulli Hockenberger (born September 2, 1956 in Straubenhardt ) is a German politician of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU).

Life

Hockenberger graduated from high school in Eppingen in 1975 . In 1981 he passed the state examination as a graduate in administration. From 1981 to 1987 he worked for the Karlsruhe regional council and from 1988 to 2016 for the city of Bruchsal. Hockenberger was mayor of Bruchsal from 2002 to 2016 .

In 2016 he was elected in constituency 29 (Bruchsal) with a direct mandate in the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg . He is a member of the Committee on Home Affairs, Digitization and Migration and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Social Affairs and Integration. He is also a deputy member of other state parliament committees, including the Transport Committee and the Petitions Committee.

He is a member of the district synod of the Bretten-Bruchsal church district of the Evangelical Church in Baden .

Hockenberger has been married since 1981.
