Ulli Tückmantel

Ulrich "Ulli" Tückmantel (born July 17, 1966 ) is a German journalist .

Tückmantel studied German , philosophy and art history at the University of Freiburg . From 1993 to 1995 he worked as a volunteer and from 1995 to 2014 as an editor at the regional daily newspaper Rheinische Post .

From May 1, 2014 he was editor-in-chief of the regional daily newspaper Westdeutsche Zeitung . On March 12, 2019, Tückmantel announced that he would be leaving the Westdeutsche Zeitung. He has been press spokesman for the Münster district government since June 1, 2019 .
