Ulrich Bodenmann

Ulrich Bodenmann (born February 24, 1696 in Urnäsch ; † July 15, 1774 in Urnäsch; resident in Urnäsch) was a Swiss politician from Appenzell Ausserrhoden .

Life

Ulrich Bodenmann, son of Ulrich Bodenmann, married Catharina Engler, daughter of Hans Engler, in 1723. From 1729 he was a parish captain of Urnäsch. As a state official of Appenzell Outer Rhodes, he was from 1732 to 1738 governor behind the sitter, 1738-1756 country Eckel champion and 1756-1762 state governor. As the holder of these state offices, he was a member of the Small Council (now the executive ), the Grand Council (now the legislature ) and the courts ( judiciary ) for 34 years .
