Ulrich Dopatka (born August 4, 1951 in Ahaus , Westphalia ) is a German-Swiss non-fiction author from the field of pre-astronautics .

Life

Dopatka is the author of the lexicon of pre-astronautics, which has since been revised several times, and numerous articles and books on this subject. In 1998, together with Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, he founded the English-speaking pre-astronautics research company (AASRA) and contributed to the publication of the magazine LegendaryTimes. He also organized the World Mysteries Forum , a symposium on scientific and frontier science topics (now called the World Discoveries Forum).

Ulrich Dopatka has been a Swiss citizen since 1989, is a qualified librarian and was responsible for library automation and the institute network at the University of Zurich for many years before he was in charge of marketing for library software at IBM. With specialist training (IT, marketing but also science journalism ) he expanded his knowledge. Until 1999 he was also a part-time consultant for library automation, and until his retirement he worked as a system librarian at the University Library of Bern .
