Ulrich Freitag (born December 1, 1947 in Altena ) is a German lawyer and politician ( SPD ) and was the municipal director of the city of Bremerhaven.

Friday attended elementary school, evening school and a college in Oberhausen , where he passed his Abitur. He then studied law at the University of Bochum and took the first and second state exams. Freitag was a surveyor and lawyer by profession. He was head of the legal and insurance office at the Bremerhaven city ​​administration . In 1999 he was elected to the Bremen citizenship . There he represented the city of Bremerhaven until he left in 2003. Up to March 31, 2012, Freitag was magistrate director at the magistrate of Bremerhaven. His successor was Claus Polansky.
