Ulrich Geilmann
Ulrich Geilmann (born January 3, 1963 in Essen ) lives on the Lower Rhine. He is a qualified spatial planner and works in the public service.
Geilmann is a hobby chess player, vice president of the Schachbundesliga e. V. and member of the Emanuel Lasker Society. For many years he was the team leader of the German chess league team of Sportfreunde Katernberg 1913 eV
He published two chess novels in 2017: Alekhine - The Life and Death of a Chess Genius , and Alekhine's Ring - Operation Botvinnik . In 2018 another book by him about the Indian chess master Sultan Khan came onto the market, which was published in both German and English.
