Ulrich Müller (Germanist)
Ulrich Müller (* 19th December 1940 in Göppingen , † 14. October 2012 in Salzburg ) was a German germanistischer medievalist .
Life
He studied German, Latin philology, archeology and musicology at the University of Tübingen . After receiving his doctorate in Tübingen in 1967 and his habilitation in 1971 at the University of Stuttgart , he taught from 1976 to 2008 as a full professor of medieval literature at the University of Salzburg . In 1984 he received the Grimme Prize and in 2001 the Gold Medal of Merit of the State of Salzburg.
