Ulrich Nehls

Ulrich Nehls (born April 27, 1959 in Husum ) is a German church musician and university professor.

Nehls studied church music in Heidelberg and Berlin . He passed his A-exam in 1987 with several awards. In 1986 he won first prize in the improvisation competition at the training centers in Frankfurt / Main. Since 1987 he has been teaching as an academic music teacher at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg .

Nehls is married and has four children. He has a driver's license, but lives car-free and is involved in the car-free association ! eV as well as translator of the USA published Car free Times .
