Ulrich Rosenfeld
Ulrich Rosenfeld (born December 15, 1930 in Münster ) is a German geologist. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Münster .
Rosenfeld studied geosciences from 1953 at the University of Münster, received his doctorate in 1957, was a scientific assistant from 1958 and curator from 1963 and qualified as a professor in 1966. From 1970 he was scientific advisor and professor in Münster.
He deals with sedimentology, Saxon tectonics and geology of Argentina (Mesozoic stratigraphy and facies analysis) and Westphalia.
Since 1972 he has been co-editor of the New Yearbook for Geology and Paleontology and he is co-editor of the Zentralblatt für Geologie und Paläontologie .
