Ulrich Safferling
Ulrich Safferling (born June 14, 1964 ) is a German motor journalist and editor-in-chief of Auto Classic and Traktor Classic, among others .
Life
After studying at the Lower Saxony University of Applied Sciences for senior administrative services (1984–1987), Safferling studied political science at the University of Hamburg until 1993 . From 1993 to 1994 he attended the Henri Nannen School .
He began his professional career at Hamburger Morgenpost (1995–1996) and at Bild am Sonntag (1996–1997). He then worked for Auto Bild until 2005 . From 2006 to 2010 he worked for the Swiss Sunday newspaper. Also in Switzerland, Safferling was editor-in - chief at auto-illustrated from 2010-2014 and founded the offshoot of auto-illustrated KLASSIK . In 2014 he took over the publishing management for ADAC / Michelin -Reisführer at Travel House Media .
After a brief interlude as editor-in-chief of Octane (2016-2017), Safferling has been editor-in-chief of Auto Classic , Traktor Classic , Flugmodell and Traktor XL magazines since 2018 .
