Ulrich Schreiber (economist)
Ulrich Schreiber (* 1950 ) is professor and holder of the chair for business taxation at the University of Mannheim , research professor at the Center for European Economic Research and member of the scientific advisory board at the Federal Ministry of Finance .
Schreiber graduated in 1974 with a degree in business administration and received his doctorate in 1979 . In 1985 he completed his habilitation at the University of Mannheim under the supervision of Otto H. Jacobs . He then worked at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover from 1985 to 1999 before returning to Mannheim in 1999. In 1997 he also passed the examination as a tax advisor .
He is co-editor of the Schmalenbach Journal for Business Research (zfbf) and the Schmalenbach Business Review (sbr).
