Ulrich Vogt (born May 15, 1941 in Paderborn ) is a German non-fiction author and didactician.

Life

Ulrich Vogt grew up in Soest in Westphalia until he was 18 . There he attended the elementary school "Wieseschule" and the Archigymnasium . After his family moved to Paderborn, he became a student at the Reismann Gymnasium there , where he graduated from high school in 1962. Ulrich Vogt studied art education, German, mathematics and sport at the University of Education in Münster and Bielefeld . In 1965 he passed his first state examination in Bielefeld and shortly afterwards became a teacher at the Schwaney elementary school, which was then still eight- graders . Immediately after the Second State Examination in 1968, he was Fachleiterfor art at the then newly founded district seminar for teacher training. In the same year he began teaching at the Bonifatius secondary school in Paderborn.

Vogt had a seven-year teaching assignment for didactics of art education at the Pedagogical University of Westphalia-Lippe, Paderborn location and the University of Paderborn , was head of art at the study seminar for teacher training in Paderborn for 34 years and honorary editor-in-chief of the magazine Photographica Cabinett for five years . He has been married since 1962 and has two children. The book The Cube Has Cast - 5000 Years Around the Cube is his tenth non-fiction book to date. It's like his book Numbers, Please! - A mathematical picture book was also created in cooperation with the Paderborn Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum . There are other publications on the areas of Paderborn city history, German camera history ( Rollei ) and computer work with primary school children. In 2002, Ulrich Vogt retired after almost 40 years of service.
