Ulrich Wimmeroth (born October 20, 1962 in Cologne ) is an IT author and freelance journalist.

Life

After studying business administration in Cologne, a period of further training followed at Kaufhof Warenhaus AG in Mannheim, Bonn, Aachen, Würzburg and Ludwigshafen. Wimmeroth later turned to information technology , first as a trainer for various projects and later as an author of specialist books.

Since 1999, 30 books have been published, mostly in collaboration with other authors, whose topics range from operating systems such as Windows XP and Windows Vista to questions of web design and the creation of web shops. He particularly addressed the topic of SEO (Search Engine Optimation, search engine optimization ), the publication of the book belonged Google Dirty tricks and appearances in the TV show Planetopia .

Ulrich Wimmeroth also publishes specialist articles in computer magazines and is part of the core team of the online entertainment magazine CineZone and works as an author for the magazine Kino & Co.
