Ulrike Brauerhoch , born Ulrike Magdalene Seebauer , (born July 21, 1949 in Witten ) is a German music teacher, music didactic specialist and specialist author.

Life

Ulrike Brauerhoch, who was born in Witten, attended the Elsa Brandström High School and the Richard Strauss Conservatory there after her parents moved to Munich . From 1969 studied Ulrike Brauerhoch both at the Music Academy in Munich and at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) and worked after the Second State Exam in 1974 as a secondary school teacher for German and music. Musically she was active as a violinist and violist in several orchestras during her studies.

After previously working part-time at the state institute for the training of teachers at secondary schools , she was appointed rector of the institute in 1983. Until the dissolution of the institute in 1995, she worked as a lecturer for didactics in music lessons, was then appointed seminar rector and worked as a teacher and seminar teacher for German and music until her retirement. As a music didactic, she advised the music editors of Bayerischer Rundfunk and the Bavarian State Ministry for Education and Culture during her professional career . She participated in the curriculum design and teacher training, assessed school books and was responsible for training student trainees in Bavaria. Ulrike Brauerhoch works today as a freelance specialist author.
