Ulrike Petermann

Ulrike Petermann (* 1954 ) is a psychologist and professor for clinical psychology at the University of Bremen with a focus on clinical child psychology.

Live and act

Petermann studied psychology and education at the University of Mannheim and the University of Bonn from 1974 to 1980 . In 1982 she received her doctorate. phil and in 1986 she completed her habilitation . From 1987 to 1991 she was Professor of Psychology in Munich and from 1991 to 1994 in Bremen. From 1995 she held the chair for behavioral pedagogy at the University of Dortmund . Since the winter semester of 2006, she has been an endowed professor for clinical child psychology in the psychology course.

Petermann is the editor and editor of the magazine Childhood and Development . Since 2007 she has been the deputy director of the Center for Clinical Psychology and Rehabilitation . Together with her husband Franz Petermann , she developed various test procedures, and from 2008 she set up an outpatient clinic for children and adolescents with him to research and work primarily in the field of anxiety disorders and depressive disorders.
