List of the largest bridges

The list of the largest bridges arranges the structures according to the height of the overall structure, measured from their highest to their lowest visible point, at which z. B. their pillars protrude from the ground or from the water. So is z. B. the Baluarte Bridge with the roadway at 402.5 m above the river is the highest cable-stayed bridge. Their pylons are on the edge of the gorge high above the valley floor. Since its largest pylon is 169 m high and is lower than the pillars of the Kochertal Bridge, it is not included in this list. The ranking according to the height of the lanes above ground can be found in the list of the highest bridges .
