Fengjie ( Chinese  奉节 县 , Pinyin Fèngjié Xiàn ) is a southwest Chinese district of the government- direct city ​​of Chongqing .

Fengjie County is located in the east of the Chongqing administrative area. It has an area of ​​4,087 km². In the 2000 and 2010 censuses, Fengjie had 871,743 and 834,259 residents, respectively. In 2010 the population density was 204.1 inhabitants per km².
