Nan'an ( Chinese  南岸 区 , Pinyin Nán'àn Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in the government- direct city ​​of Chongqing . Nan'an has an area of ​​278.78 km². In 2000 and 2010 censuses, Nan'an counted 592,566 and 759,570 residents, respectively.
