Jiangjin District in Chongqing

Jiangjin ( Chinese  江津 区 , Pinyin Jiāngjīn Qū ) is a district of the government- direct city ​​of Chongqing in the People's Republic of China. Jiangjin covers an area of ​​3,200.22 km². In the 2000 and 2010 censuses, Jiangjin recorded 1,322,890 and 1,233,149 residents, respectively.

Partnerships

Jiangjin has been twinned with the city of Miyakonojō , Japan , since 1999.
