Dianjiang ( Chinese  垫江 县 , Pinyin Diànjiāng Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in the government- direct city ​​of Chongqing . The district has an area of ​​1,518 km². In the 2000 and 2010 censuses, Dianjiang had 862,323 and 704,458 residents, respectively.
