Yongchuan

Yongchuan District in Chongqing

Yongchuan ( Chinese  永川 区 , Pinyin Yǒngchuān Qū ) is a Chinese municipality in the suburb of Chongqing . The city district has an area of ​​1,575.68 km². In 2000 and 2010 censuses, Yongchuan had 984,730 and 1,024,708 residents, respectively.

Partnerships

Yongchuan has been twinned with the city of Pleven , Bulgaria , since 2012.
