The Incheon Bridge is a bridge in South Korea with a total length of 12.3 km. The main bridge, a cable-stayed bridge with a maximum span of 800 m , is the fifth largest in the world. The longest bridge in South Korea was officially opened on October 26, 2009 after a construction period of just over four years.

The road bridge spans a wadden bay of the Yellow Sea and connects New Songdo City , a district of Incheon that will be built by 2020 , with Incheon Airport on Yeongjongdo Island with three lanes for each lane .

The cable-stayed bridge has a total span of 1480 m. The central opening has a span of 800 m on both sides to close fields of each 260 m and 80 m span to. The clearance for ships is 74 m. The 31.4 m wide carriageway girder has a steel box girder with a steel composite cross section . The 238.5 m high pylons have the shape of a λ in the transverse direction and are made of reinforced concrete . There are two rope levels that are anchored to the edge of the bridge girder.

On both sides, the double-hipped cable-stayed bridge is connected to 889 m long ramp bridges, each with a superstructure for one directional carriageway. The spans are 82 m, 5 × 145 m and 82 m. The construction was in cantilever with established on land prestressed concrete built finished components; the heaviest prefabricated parts weigh 1400 tons. The beginning and end sections of the bridge span 50 m and consist of one pre-stressed concrete part for each direction of travel.
