Ulrike Wax-Wörner

Ulrike Wax-Wörner (* 1945 ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Wax-Wörner was a teacher at a secondary school for the subjects of German, history and Protestant religion as well as a teacher. She trained in Gestalt pedagogy after spending a year in Finland for adult education at the Goethe Institute.

Wax-Wörner was politically active in various groups, including the Jusos , evangelical Third World groups, Amnesty International and the Education and Science Union . From 1983 she worked for the Greens, for which she was one of the first supporters of this party in the Bavarian state parliament from 1986 to 1990 .
