Ultrawurscht is a band from Upper Austria and Bavaria , founded in 2004 , that plays a mixture of Death Metal and Grindcore with hardcore influences. The band calls their style of music Wurschtcore .
history
All four band members, except for the live guitarist Sick Wurschtbua II, who has only been with the band since summer 2008, met at the With Full Force Festival in Germany. One year after it was founded, they recorded and self-published the sausage case scenario demo . All the songs on it are also on their first studio album , which is entitled Dawn Of The New Sauce-Age . The debut album is also a self- release by the band.
About two years later, in 2008, they signed a contract with the German label Twilight Vertrieb . In the same year they released their second album, Cheese Ass Built My Hot Dog (The title is a parody of the Ministry single Jesus Built My Hotrod .) Via Twilight Distribution .
The band has already been booked for several larger festivals, including the Summer Nights Open Air or the Queen Of Metal Open Air and also for concerts in Romania.
