Umut Camkiran (Turkish: Umut Çamkıran * 21 February 1989 in Bad Saulgau ) is a Turkish heavyweight - a professional boxer .

Amateur career

Camkiran only played an amateur fight at the Bad Saulgau boxing club.

Professional career

Camkiran fought on his professional debut against Edgar Kalnars under Ahmet Öner Promotion and won in the first round by technical knockout.

After three fights, which Camkiran won prematurely by knockout, he fought in his fourth fight against Alexander Kahl for the UBF Europe heavyweight belt; he also won here in the first round with a knockout. He later moved from Ahmet Öner to another promoter.

In his ninth fight he fought for the WBC Mediterranean heavyweight belt in Istanbul; his opponent was Goran Delic . Camkiran won with a technical knockout in the first round because Delic injured his eye and did not make it to the second round.

His trainer is the former boxer Mahir Oral .
