Environmental physics
The science of environmental physics has the task of using physical methods to research physical processes in the environment .
The following physical methods, among others, have established themselves in environmental research :
The environmental systems that are examined are, for example:
- the earth's atmosphere (air, gas envelope),
- the biosphere (flora and fauna),
- the hydrosphere (oceans, lakes, rivers, groundwater) or
- the cryosphere (ice, glacier, snow).
