Undressing Underwater is Rusty Anderson's first solo album . It was first released in 2003 as an in-house production on Anderson's Oxide Records label and was relaunched on September 13, 2005 on Surfdog Records .

History of origin

Undressing Underwater was recorded at Oxide Studios in Southern California, Sunset Sound in Los Angeles and Henson Studios, and was produced by Rusty Anderson himself. Most of the songs were written with Paul McCartney between tours . Usually the lyrics were written first and the melodies were built around the lyrics. On some songs he was supported by David Kahne, Mudrock and Parthenon Huxley. The title of the album (in German: "Undressing yourself under water") is based on an article in a boy scout handbook from the 1960s.

After the album was initially only published by Anderson himself, a new edition of the album was released on September 13, 2005 via the record company Surfdog Records.
