Rusty Anderson (* 1958 in La Habra ) is an American guitarist . He is currently a member of Paul McCartney's band . Even artists such as, among others, Elton John , The Bangles , Courtney Love and Belinda Carlisle are among his famous clients.

Life

The American guitarist and songwriter has built a remarkable career. When he was thirteen, he formed his first band, a hard rock group called Eulogy. However, it had no chance in the professional music business and broke up without producing a record. Soon his next music group, The Living Daylights, was born. One of her recordings came to producer David Khane . Rusty Anderson's guitar playing fascinated him and he invited him to take part in a recording for the Bangles in 1986.

Rusty Anderson continued his career as a studio musician with Stewart Copeland ( The Police ) and Stanley Clarke ( Return to Forever ) and later as guitarist and songwriter for the alternative rock band Ednaswap , who produced three albums between 1995 and 1998, away.

Anderson had his big break in 2001 when he played for Paul McCartney's album Driving Rain . The ex-Beatle then hired him for his world tour Back in the World . In the same year Anderson's first solo album Undressing Underwater was released , which was created with the participation of Paul McCartney, Stewart Copeland and David Khane, among others.
