Impatience (novel)

Impatience (original Нетерпение - Njeterpenije) is a historical novel by Yuri Trifonow from 1973, which tells the story of the Narodovolts , a more radical split-off of the Narodniki (folk peoples), in Alexander II's Russia between 1878 and 1881, using authentic people it also touches on the history of nihilists and anarchists . The novel was published in German translation in 1975 in the GDR and in independent editions in the FRG.
