União the Freguesias de Covas e Vila Nova de Oliveirinha , shortly Covas e Vila Nova de Oliveirinha , is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Tábua . It covers an area of ​​21.87 km² and has 1380 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal after the municipal elections on September 29, 2013, as a merger of the previous municipalities Covas and Vila Nova de Oliveirinha . The seat of the new community was Covas.
