União de Freguesias the Ázere e Covelo , short Ázere e Covelo , is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Tábua . It covers an area of ​​24.47 km² and has 926 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal after the municipal elections on September 29, 2013, as a merger of the previous municipalities Ázere and Covelo . Ázere became the seat of the new municipality.
